The concerts presented by the Lower Franconian Vocational School of Music in Bad Königshofen constitute an integral part of the city's cultural life. Annual choral and orchestral concerts, as well as vocal recitals, have earned the vocational school renown extending far beyond the local district and the Franconian region. Whether concerts, theater performances, or art exhibitions—you will find cultural highlights of every genre throughout this region. A wide variety of exhibitions take place in and around Bad Königshofen throughout the year. The South Thuringian State Theater in Meiningen and the Franconian Theater "Schloss Maßbach" offer first-class performances.

Prehistoric

At the "Schranne"—a branch of the Munich State Collection of Prehistory—visitors can view rare finds dating back to around 4500 BC, archaeological discoveries from the Roman Imperial period and the High Middle Ages, as well as faithful reconstructions of graves from the Hallstatt period (700–500 BC).
